Meet Lebanese calls itself “the best and most serious chat and dating website” which is primarily designed for dating in Lebanon. Although it does have this prerequisite, the site doesn’t stop you from joining up if you do not currently live in Lebanon, as you may wish to visit or invite someone to visit you. In fact it offers the ability to easily find Lebanese partners for dating or marriage, from across the globe. The site is free to use, although if you want access to certain features you will need to sign up for a gold membership. 

The exclusive gold membership features on offer allow you to share videos, blogs and music with other members on the website. If these things are important to you then you will be required to upgrade. Costs vary depending on the length of your contract, so please make an inquiry through the website if these features are of interest to you. In particular we feel that video chat can be useful to really get a sense of someone from their looks, behavior, voice and more. It adds a little more intimacy, should you require it.

The basic membership is free and allows you to view profiles and pictures, as well as make contact in email-style messages or through live chat. However, you will need to wait for your account to be activated after having filled in the basic information, which can take some time (even more than a day). This is quite irritating because it means that if you want to get going right away you cannot. However it may help to weed out fake accounts, so the members you speak to are more likely to be legitimate.

Although the site is international we got the impression that it was best for people who live in Lebanon, are going to move there or want to make contacts there. In some ways it therefore felt more like a long distance dating site with eyes towards marriage, if you’re using it in another location such as the USA or UK. Well, that’s fine if it’s what you are after, we just thought it was worth stating. As a member you can see who has been visiting your profile page, who the new members are and perform searches. This is all done with relative ease, although nothing stands out as exemplary. More often than not, looking at the new members is pointless because none of them have uploaded photos as they are waiting for their profiles to be accepted by the admin team before going ahead with completing their page.

Meet-Lebanese.com is a specific beast, but if you are in Lebanon or looking to meet someone from there, this might be right up your alley. Free membership should be fine for most people, but if you are interested in the gold membership extras then they cost extra. A lot of members have taken their time to update their profiles, which is a good sign, and this could be a great resource for dating in Lebanon (and potentially further afield).
